I'm glad you enjoy it, but don't be intimidated. It does take a lot of work and effort to form a community, here, otherwise you just tend to get lost amongst the millions of postings. That's what happened to me when I first came on here. Nonsense, don't be intimidated, though, first off, what better place to learn than in a place where your sourrounded by people better than yourself. I learn tons just from looking at and studying other peoples pictures, deciding what worked and what didn't work and honestly, often, just stealing their creative ideas and using them in my own works. Like the use of photoshop for vibrant color (which I'm still trying to ge the hang off) and frames and so forth. Secondly, truthfully, most of the stuff on DA really isn't that great. No offense to anyone, intendend, but for the most part were a community of beginners and most of the pictures are just 'snapshots', and even those who are very popular and have very 'eye-catching' shots are often neither technically nor artistically good. They will often have pretty colors and good contrast, but in truth they often have bad composition, no subject, and many times nothing special to speak of, but they *are* pretty pictures so they get a lot of attention. That's not just me saying that, my brother who is a photoeditor by profession says that, too, so don't be intimidated, ask the people *how* they got pictures that you like and you'll learn a lot
